Hello, let's take the job opportunities in both NASA and ISRO and see them one-by-one,
For NASA you need to pursue aeronautical engineering, but most importantly, you must have following things:-
    - Have skills NASA needs. Computer knowledge helps, but NASA doesn't use all computers and is amazingly computer phobic at various levels
    - Join the Indian Space Program. Work on joint projects and in an exchange capacity. The closest NASA Office in Asia is in US Embassy in Tokyo.
    - Being an aeronautical (vs. an aerospace) engineer is tough. About "90%" of the aeronautical market is the design of transport aircraft of all type, and a lot of peop

Sure. You can get into NASA/ISRO but will you get in depends on a number of factors.
    1. The institute you study in. Studying in premier institutes like IITs, IIST will surely increase your chances of getting into these organizations. Studying in IIST provides really good chance to work in ISRO.
    2. Your talents and skills. You should have a strong fundamental base in the core subjects.
    3. You should have done some notable work like some excellent research paper or project which garnered the attention of some important people.
    4. You should, of course, possess soft skills as a person cannot perform a job without them.
    5. Mainly you should hav

Yes, there are countless options for an engineer to get into NASA as well as ISRO. Both are separate organization having their own rules and curriculum, so here I will talk about all the possible ways to get into ISRO.
Indian Space Research Organization abbreviated as ISRO is by name a research organization run under the funding of central government. The best possibility to get into ISRO is through aeronautical and aerospace engineering. The field requires a lot of knowledge and contains a lot of theory with it so it is preferred to be done from an elite institution. After graduation, one needs to prepare for the interview of ISRO and
