The scope of architecture in India is huge as India is still in its developing phase and there is lot construction going on in the real estate sector whether we talk about homes or offices
Interior design is one of the fastest growing professional fields. Interior Designers can find employment with builders, public works department, hotel and resort chains, hospitals, town planning bureau, regional and metropolitan development works, private consultancies, studios and theaters and exhibition organizers. etc. They can also set up their own business.

    Hi,
The work of the interior designer starts after the work of an architect is completed, that's the basic difference. Architect job is to provide proper structure to the compound and the he also takes care of the dimension of the rooms, open area etc. and the job of the interior designer is to make the place look lively and charming.

    Architects :
    1. Design the whole structure of a home (its exterior and interior structure)
    2. Include electrical and plumbing requirements in each plan
    3. Focus on the home's exterior design elements, and also its interior architecture, trim, millwork and ceiling finishes
    Interior Designers :
    1. Design the look/style of a home's interiors (usually all rooms)
    2. Include a lighting plan for each room
    3. Design backsplashes, choose all tile, flooring and lighting (fixtures and placement)
    4. Focus on selecting interior materials, finishes, hardware, furnishings, textiles, drapery/window treatments, paint color, wallpaper and accents

    Hi,
Architecture is a highly regulated field. Above anything else, architects must design homes that are safe for the occupants. Because architects work with the main structure of a home, they are authorized to make changes to it. Interior Designers are allowed to change the parts of a home that do not interfere with its actual structure.

Architect works for the basic structure of the building and interior designer works for decorating the interior of the compound.
