    LPU is not only the ICAR Accredited but become the India's first private University to be Granted with ICAR Accreditation. B.Sc. (Hons. ). Agriculture, M.Sc. Ag. (Genetics & Plant Breeding), M.Sc. Ag. (Agronomy) and M.Sc. Ag. Horticulture (Fruit Science) programmes are accredited to ICAR by the National Agricultural Education Board of Indian Council of Agricultural Research, an autonomous body responsible for co-ordinating agricultural education and research in India.     Yes, BIG YES to your question. LPU is one of the best choice for agriculture programme. Lovely Professional University is first private university accredited by Indian Council of Agricultural Research. No other private university has this accreditation. LPU is one of the great place for education where the management actually believe on actions rather than words. Whatever they promised they delivered to us along with in campus placement at good package and best time of life.

    Dear Aspirant, Yes, the B.Sc. In Agriculture programme at LPU is still ICAR approved at present. LPU is the 1st private which is approved by ICAR in India among all other private universities that offer agriculture programme. Along with recognition, LPU has a good placement record in the B.Sc. (Agriculture) programme. Students of the School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Sanra organics, and many more.     I am student of LPU and I am living in hostel. My roommate is doing Bachelors in agriculture. She is saying B.Sc. Agriculture is an amazing course. LPU is the first private university that got ICAR approval. LPU is spread over 600 acres of campus and 1200+ acres of agricultural land (especially for agriculture students) having 3000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff.     Yes being an alumni of LPU I can proudly say that B.Sc. Agriculture course from LPU is ICAR approved. Infact LPU is the first private university which got approval of ICAR. In LPU, Agriculture Students are exposed to live Commercial farms (250 acres) to engage and tone up their endurance, confidence and management skills.
