Is B.Tech Biotechnology at LPU is better then Amity?

Well, I am not a Biotech Student but one of my friends completed B.Tech. Biotech. From LPU last year. She had a lot of things to say about the Biotechnology dept. Some of them are as follows: - 1. The design of the programme seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects pertaining to biotechnology for building problem-solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. 2. The main focus of the programme is to identify, understand and analyze problems pertaining to biotechnology and proposing feasible solutions using basic knowledge in microbiology, biochemistry, Molecular Biology and genetics. 3. LPU has world-class laboratories having high tech equipment for experimentation 4. The programme will enable you to design and develop solutions to Biology centric problems by using appropriate computational Biology software tools and programming skills. 5. Contemporary Curriculum: Instil advanced knowledge in the major areas of Biotechnology such as Animal Tissue Culture, Plant Tissue Culture, Microbiology, Genetics, and Bioinformatics. 6. Industry Immersion: Training, projects, and guest lectures collaborated with industries help to learn from real-life situations 7. Projects: Seminar and Project driven courses are designed to enhance technical and presentation skills: Interdisciplinary Minors 8.
