Is chitkara University is better or lpu or Chandigarh University or thapar or MIT Pune or bhartia vidhya peeth for B.Tech CSE? RANK them.

Hi Anshul, I am a student at Chitkara University. I love this place as much as I hate their curriculum. Chitkara University is decently ranked in India and the world. In terms of knowledge and placement it is a good place, the campus is huge and beautiful without a doubt, they have startup incubator which is useful for students having business idea, they have some industry collaborations to make their curriculum relevant for present which may also help during placement, teaching staff is friendly and understanding. Sounds great but things get a bit hard when you have to attend about 75-90% of total lectures to be eligible to attend exam that too for 8 hours a day and even during those lectures you will be asked to prepare for upcoming exam and exams here are done in a week with less gap in between which may sound problematic for those who are coming here after watching Student of the year? You can expect basic facilities like well-lit Classrooms, Cheating proof Examination Hall? , good Wi-Fi around university, library with course related but unnecessary books? , overall great environment, food court and enough opportunities from clubs and societies specially for CSE Students, regular hackathons with good prize pools frequently organized.

Hello Anshul, The campus is built over a huge area of around 600 acres of land and has the best facilities for the students. I currently pursuing CSE at LPU. Being a student, I'll share my points with all of you. Academically, it is the best private university which always focuses on learning outcomes by letting explore our capabilities. The curriculum blends in with the technology. Frequent guest lectures/ workshops are also organized for us by the university. Recently, *Ministry of Science Technology's Advisory Monitoring Committee Meeting was held where 42 Scientists from various top universities like IITs, NITs, top Central and State Universities including our university (LPU) from across the country presented their research proposals. * The faculty members are very knowledgeable in their respective fields. They are always ready to help us. During the exams, professors arrange special classes for the students to help them revise better and clear their doubts. Apart from this, LPU has best lab facilities for each subject. Our department has a dedicated laboratory division with fully functional world-class equipment. A large library spread over 6 floors, with Lacs of books and resources. We can read and issue books on the weekly basis. Now let's talk about the activities. There are a number of activities conducted at LPU throughout the year. Various sports are structured. We can participate or play any sport according to our choice basketball, hockey, cricket, table tennis, volleyball etc. Cultural events are very famous in the university like fashion shows, singing competitions, dancing competitions etc. Debate competition, speech competition are very common on the campus. These are usually organized to build up the confidence level and develop our personality. I recently participated in 'One India-2018' mega-fest. It showcased more than 160 festivals celebrated all across the country. It was so much fun.

For B.Tech CSE, the best option is the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) which was ranked in the Top 350 among Times World University Rankings 2022 and has been accredited with an 'A+' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It has some well-known recruiters, such as Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, NVIDIA, Samsung, Accenture, WIPRO, Infosys, Amazon, Yahoo, and others. With having an average salary package of 14 Lacs per annum, TIET offers Lucrative career opportunities and extensive exposure to their students.

Chandigarh University has very efficient B.Tech. Programmes on offer as each trade of the Bachelor of Technology has many specialised programmes, which students can pursue. In terms of strength, Chandigarh University is one of the best institutes to study B.Tech across North India. It has got specialised faculty, from abroad as well. Also, they have modernized equipment and laboratories which are very essential in this trade. Moreover, emphasis is laid on more practical work along with the theory which really prepares you for the industrial demands. The internship programmes are pretty impressive. Apart from this, CU is very good at placements and top MNCs visit the CU Campus every year to recruit students.

Hi. Both LPU and Chitkara Universities are similar for pursuing B.Tech CSE graduation degree but LPU has additional edge of exposure, updated curriculum and good placements because of its aggressive brand building efforts. Thapar University is one of the good universities to take admission on the basis of JEE but for Thapar, you have to score well. If your marks are good, then go through it. It has better placement record. The ideal place to be is Chandigarh University. Chandigarh University's highlights include a high-quality, industry-oriented curriculum, extremely qualified doctorate faculty with an impeccable research record, industry-collaborated laboratories, world-class infrastructure, support for extracurricular activities, participation in sports, and so on. The NAAC has given Chandigarh University an A+ rating. THE OUTLOOK has placed CU first among private engineering institutes in North India. It is the holder of the National Award for the Most Companies: Limca Book of Records. Affordability of fees, in my perspective, is also a good aspect for CU.
