Hi. Both LPU and Chitkara Universities are similar for pursuing B.Tech CSE graduation degree but LPU has additional edge of exposure, updated curriculum and good placements because of its aggressive brand building efforts. Thapar University is one of the good universities to take admission on the basis of JEE but for Thapar, you have to score well. If your marks are good, then go through it. It has better placement record. Kindly visit the links given below- https://www.shiksha.com/compare-Chandigarh-university-vs-mit-wpu-Pune-id-743009-667383

Honestly, when I think about B.E. CSE, Chandigarh University stands out a lot compared to others like Chitkara, LPU, Thapar, MIT Pune, or Bharati Vidyapeeth. CU has great industry connections with companies like Microsoft and IBM, which means you get exposure to real projects and cutting-edge tech. The campus is huge and modern, with well-equipped labs and lots of chances to join hackathons, coding contests, and workshops.

CU's NIRF ranking and ABET accreditation add extra trust in the quality of education. Plus, they offer special courses in trending areas like AI, cybersecurity, and data science, which really prepare you for today's j

I think that you should not judge any review, until and unless you experience it yourself, as per me chandigarh university is best choice for students as it has everything- labs, top infra, libraries, events, chill spots, food hubs, amazing placements, etc. Campus life is a vibe. There are tons of cultural events, clubs, and activities to keep you busy. Plus, the student crowd is super diverse, so you meet people from all over and make some amazing friends.

    Dear reader,

As a LPU student this is my prespective towards the question you asked. Although both Thapar and MIT Pune are well regarded and have solid academic records, LPU's B.Tech CSE programme is notable for its broad industry partnerships and career-focused curriculum.  Due to the university's emphasis on practical skills, many students receive offers and placements from major recruiters.  LPU is an appealing option for a successful career because of its proactive approach to preparing students for the business world.

You can find more details on official websites of these universities.

    I hope this information helps.

If you ask me, for B.Tech/B.E. CSE, I'd still pick Chandigarh University. The reason is simple—placements and exposure. CU gets a crazy number of tech companies every year, which really boosts opportunities. Apart from that, the coding culture, hackathons, and student clubs make learning more practical rather than just bookish. I've seen friends doing internships through CU in companies like IBM and Accenture while still in college.
