    Hi,
Difficulty and Boredom depends on the perception and majority. You have got your own perception and hence I will answer your question on the Holistic criteria I. e what majority of people think. If we see difficulty, it arises when scope of a subject goes on increasing and an examiner can ask any question. (Mostly repetitive questions are asked from easy and limited scope subjects)
Signal and Systems is such a subject. This subject is applicable in most of the other subjects which are
Analog Communication, Digital Communication, Digital Electronics (when it comes to noise), Electronics Devices and Circuits, Integrated Circuits (Analo

Let's say that difficulty level is inversely proportional to interest. If you are interested in the subjects of this field then you won't find it that difficult. I would suggest first have a look at the syllabus of all the years and get a fair idea whether you wish to learn those or not.
    Hope this helps.
    All the best.

    Hi dear,
Answering your question actually leaves you in ambiguity. ECE branch is, of course, a core branch, but it doesn't signify that it is difficult. Various reasons can be there for you to see ECE as a difficult branch to study:
Maybe misguided by elders or seniors.
Maybe your not dealing with expert teachers.
Maybe you read a subject which was irritating.
Here, I suggest you some helpful tips to get rid of the
    1. You can have a direct conversation with your seniors who are in the perfect practical orientation of engineering field.
    2. You can read various blogs and articles on the internet about the ECE branch and You can also try going

    Hi there,
Electronics and Communication Engineering is somewhat tough as compared to some engineering stream like Computer Science, IT and/or Civil engineering. However, in ECE studies, especially in India, it frequently gets tough to visualize and apply what you're being taught. You won't see how a transistor works, nor the transmission of electromagnetic waves. It's just there on the paper, some concepts/equations that don't make much sense at first. Here you will need patience and belief that these things fit together at some point and make up a real system.
Also, Electronics and Communication Engineers have to learn programming langu

If you do a course and curriculum wise comparison then yes, electronics and communication engineering is difficult with respect to computer science or information technology, etc. But electronics and communication engineering also provide opportunities to learn more and more about new topics. Also, being an electronics engineer you can apply to both IT and non-IT means hardware jobs.
