    Automobile Engineering is a branch of engineering that deals with designing, manufacturing and maintenance of Automobiles. The course in Automobile Engineering incorporates a range of sub-disciplines, starting from designing the vehicles to manufacturing components, and assembling and testing them for safety. According to industry estimates, the automobile sector is expected to sell more than 6 million vehicles by 2020. Automobile Engineers are in demand in both India and abroad.     The placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, Cognizant Technology Solutions etc. And generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session.

    Dear Dinesh, LPU is really good to pursue an automobile engineering, Many of my friends did this programme at LPU. There are very Good placements in reputed companies. Allotment of seats in LPU NEST-wise counseling will depend on the merit rank of candidates, their eligibility, and the online filling of course and specialisation preferences.
