    Hi,
LPU is known for its engineering programme. Once I was travelling by train from New Delhi to Jalandhar and on my adjacent seats, two students were sitting who were studying in engineering in LPU. Being an educator, I was curious to know about the University, so the same I did. The points they highlighted I will mention below
    1) The faculty and the infrastructure and other facilities are excellent.
    2) The placements are 100% and the preparation for the same starts from the very first year. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 28 LPA. More than 650 companies visit LPU every ye

I have done my Engineering from Lovely Professional University and I am a proud alumnus of LPU. I can share details about LPU but I cannot comment anything about others.
Starting with my experience from the first year onwards, where we asked to join some Placement.Enhancement Classes, that day I wondering why there is a need of same at this early stage and then the day I was sitting in my placement drive, I recall all those essential points which were taught to me that day and those eventually helped me in securing my seat in an interview.
One more point I would like to share that it is not just calling the company to the campus, b

If I talk about this University there are plenty of companies who visit the Campus for placements. There are many companies who offers very high package too, but there are very less students who really get that. Reason behind this may be that there are not good faculty members in the university. But this is a half-truth. Real truth is that there are good faculty members, very experienced faculty members available in university but population here in LPU is, so high that these faculty members are not available for all. Yes, this is sad reality of LPU.

    Saurabh,
LPU has earned a good reputation for itself in the field of education. Taking admission for engineering there will give you a cutting edge over other students as I have heard that they work hard on their students when it comes to placements. Not only are the students equipped with theoretical and practical subject knowledge, but also they are trained to face placement exams with ease. The placements and alumni of the university speak volumes about the university that how it has come a long way and is there to stay.
Another plus point is that the university has made it possible for all to have access to quality education.
