Is LPU a good college for engineering or not?

You need to do your Bachelors from a college that has maximum practical exposure as well as internships to give hands on knowledge and experience. As much as theoretical knowledge is important, its practical application of the same which holds the key to success. You must choose the college which has: Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Since engineering is going to have a sea change in how the things work, is a highly dynamic, you cant afford to be stuck in obsolete technologies. Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy formal the backbone of how the programme is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well rounded professional. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now highly tech driven, the tech programme must have the exposure and training of the same. The world leading technologies like CAD, SAP, GitHub, Advance excel, etc. Are must for any professional to succeed in career. Industry interface: Ultimately its the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships are must have in any tech programme. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills, etc. Are given high importance in the organisations. The programme must include the training or modules on all these. Diversity: As he world shrinks into a aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross cultural teams having entirely different work culture and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a college is helpful in enabling the students develop right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Entrepreneurship : Even though most of the students go for jobs, the exposure to entrepreneurship is required. This helps the professionals know how the other departments and the profit center heads work. The college must have innovation labs, design thinking and business incubator. Placements : The programme is only means to the end and desired end of such course is a placement. You must check if the college/university has sold track record of placements or not. I can vouch for LPU surely as it has excelled in all these parameters and is far ahead from almost all the parameters discussed above.

Great if you are someone, who is a hardworking intellectual, who is not afraid to put your efforts and who wants to succeed in life. Feedback for this university might be different, some have very positive and some have negative, but a quality education in an affordable cost with plenty of opportunities for students to grab seems a great deal to me. Undoubtedly, LPU is one of the best colleges for engineering in India. The faculty, infrastructure, and facilities are excellent at LPU. Most of the faculty members are Ph.Ds. and others are pursuing. The curriculum of the Courses is designed according to the industry demands and the suggestions of company officials are taken while designing the syllabus of the particular subject. LPU Students also design Solar-powered Driverless Bus to ferry PM Modi to Indian Science Congress 2019. Moreover, the preparation of placement is started in the first year and the placements are 100%. LPU has set the highest placement record in North India.

Dear Saurabh, There are certain parameters such as placements, infrastructure, faculty level, environment, growth, etc. to be considered while selection of institute for pursuing education. It a big question in the mind of a student as well as parents that what will the offers and placement scenario of educational institute when the student will be about to complete the course. LPU is an international university with more than 700+ tie ups with industries and companies to support academic and placement of his students. My cousin sister done her B.Tech in ECE from here and she got placed in Cognizant with top package. Other friends of her also placed in other companies such as Capgemini, Tech. Mahindra, BOSCH, Amazon, SAP, Texas Instruments, Cadence, Sandisk, Moserbear. Their junior Tanya Arora who is recently in news, got placed in Microsoft with 42 LPA. So, we have no doubt that LPU is best and a bench marks for placement and internships of students not only in CSE but also in other courses.
