Is LPU a good college for engineering?

LPU is the right place for Engineering as it donot leave any stone unturned for the better placements of the students. The curriculum which is floated to the students are meeting the needs of the industry. Students are also provided with on job trainings, industrial exposures inculcating in them modern management skills. More than 550 companies (more than 90% being MNC's) visit every year for campus-recruitment of students from LPU. The companies which have visited as of now are: Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, Cognizant Technology Solutions, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Amdocs, Capgemini, Verizon, SAP Labs, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies, Asahi India, Ceasefire Industries, Sandhar Technologies, Indus tower, Decathlon Sports, Exide Industries, Emami, Eye-Q Vision, ITC Limited, Janalakshmai Financial Services, Kelloggs, MRF, Naukri, Moodys Analytics, WNS Global, Writer Corporation, Nivesh Group, OCWEN Financial, Practo etc. LPU believes in delivering the quality, for same, it has hired faculty from the reputed institutes like IITs, NITs. LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO.

Well in my opinion, Lovely Professional University is good in all the aspects. LPU is the best private university to go for B.Tech, it is one of the top 5 universities of India, providing quality education, innovative pedagogy and unbeatable placements both national and international. LPU provides a great academic exposure to its students. It provides a chance to the students to attend guest lectures or workshops, so that they get to learn as much as they can. It is the reality what I have experience in LPU during my graduation and post graduation that this place is actually too good not for engineering only but for overall education in every field. LPU is made up of all those things which can transform a person into wonderful personality in all aspects if you take things positively and yes seriously too. LPU has strong curriculum as per the industry standards. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to placements of our students. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU; and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session.

CSE is one of the most sought-after programs these days. India being global hub of software and back-office industries, this field has immense job opportunities. You must know the parameters on which to compare. Some are mentioned as follows: Curriculum: The course curricula of any tech degree must be very unique and dynamic. It must be developed with extensive consultations with industry. Tech trainings: The must students undergo many training like cutting edge technologies of SAP, Workday, waterfall other MOOCs, Advance Excel and many more. These skills come in handy for the students not only at the time of interviews and tests but also throughout their careers. Soft skills: There must be a dedicated effort by college/university in continuous improvement of personality, soft skills, professional ethics, interview skills, public speaking, presentation style development etc. In students. These are must for placements as well as performance in the jobs. Exposure: The students must be exposed to large number of guest lectures and talks by industry experts, large number of events in university to enhance their organizing and networking kills, large number of social work initiatives to develop the right orientation.
