Hi, LPU is a renowned university and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India owing to which AICTE approval is not required. It has numerous other accreditation as well such as Association Of Indian Universities (AIU), Council Of Architecture (COA), National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE), Pharmacy Council Of India (PCI), Indian Council Of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Bar Council Of India (BCI), The Institution Of Engineers (India), Institute Of Town Planners, India (ITPI) as well as International Memberships.

Being an alumni of LPU. I would like to answer this question. As LPU got accreditation from Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs, USA (ACBSP). Not only LPU is highly accredited but also it is having numerous international tie ups for instance university of North Alabama, Livingstone College etc. LPU is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India owing to which AICTE approval is not required. Hi Khan, I definitely understand your concern about thorough accreditation before selection of this Globally Renowned University. Being alumni I must assure that, Lovely Professional University is recognised by many Accreditation councils of India & thoroughly recognised by UGC in 2006. AICTE approval is not required for a university to run a course in technical education as has been held by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in its judgment CWP2056 of 1999 titled BHARATHIDASAN UNIVERSITY & ANR.
