Its definitely a very crucial decision to select the Best University for pursuing this course to get prepared all round to achieve best placement. 4 years agoIf you can't make it to top ICAR ranked agri. Colleges ( can refer ICAR agri. Ranking and various other rankings) then LPU is a good choice and in some cases much better than less known ICAR agri. Colleges. LPU is one of the best private University and first private university to get ICAR accreditation. It will cost you more than ICAR college but you can reduce your fee burden by scholarships ( they give more than 6 type of scholarships under various category). You get more exposure and amenities. -
LPU is the best university. My friend Rupinder has done his master's in horticulture from LPU is and now he is placed in MNC and living in Canada. 3. The best thing is the University does not compromise with academics at any cost.

LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
