    Its definitely a very crucial decision to select the Best University for pursuing this course to get prepared all round to achieve best placement. In this regard I must suggest, School of Agriculture, Lovely Professional University which is FIRST PRIVATE SCHOOL to get accredited by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).     If you can't make it to top ICAR ranked agri. Colleges ( can refer ICAR agri. Ranking and various other rankings) then LPU is a good choice and in some cases much better than less known ICAR agri. Colleges. LPU is one of the best private University and first private university to get ICAR accreditation. It will cost you more than ICAR college but you can reduce your fee burden by scholarships ( they give more than 6 type of scholarships under various category). You get more exposure and amenities.

    LPU is the best university. My friend Rupinder has done his master's in horticulture from LPU is and now he is placed in MNC and living in Canada. LPU is the first private University in India that is approved by ICAR. I did MBA from LPU, During my post-graduation years I had few friends from the agriculture department, Sometimes I used to visit fields, Labs with them they also discussed placements, academic, placements etc. So I have an Idea about this course.     Being a alumni of Lovely Professional University, I would say Lovely professional University School of Agriculture is among Punjab and India's Best Agriculture colleges. It lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields. The university has well-equipped Laboratories, Library, lecture rooms, and excellent farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments.     Hi, LPU is the best option to pursue B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture. One of my cousins graduated in this course from LPU and I will highlight some of the features.
    1. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation.
    2. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph. This and provide full support to the students.
    3. The best thing is the University does not compromise with academics at any cost.
    4. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks under the supervision of the staff.

    LPU is the best choice to pursue B.Sc. Agriculture programme as LPU not only provides excellent teaching but also provides positive environment for learning. Beside this LPU also provides campus placements in well established multinational companies.
