Is LPU good for B.Sc. (Hons) Agriculture?

Hi, LPU is the best. LPU's agriculture courses are consistently in high demand. LPU School of Agriculture is one of the best agriculture institutes in Punjab and India. LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 1 crore LPA, while many failed to do so. On an average the Agriculture students of LPU is offered and placed in the starting package of 5.5 TO 6 LPA (Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that. Like I said, LPU will provide you the platform and the opportunity, but it is really you who have to go and perform on the platform being provided. LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. Agriculture is a growing sector in the present times and emerging as a field of opportunities. Agriculture is the right career option for the future of development. Agriculture is one of the most diversified fields than ever before, offering several jobs and self-employment opportunities to agriculture students. LPU has cutting edge course design best suited for the modern agriculture technology. The agriculture programme at LPU is designed with a target of holistic development of students. Agriculture courses at LPU are very popular because LPU is the first private university to get an ICAR approval. The laboratories of the School are world class. The dedicated faculty gives the students a hands -on training experience by assigning live projects (Agricultural work) in university agricultural research farms and experiential learning on different agricultural units.
