Is LPU good for B.Tech CSE? I couldn't qualify for JEE Mains.

Dear Ayush, Every university is doing well for their students but as per my knowledge, I can give you the insight of LPU as my cousin did B.Tech from here and she placed in Cognizant with a good salary package. 1) In LPU, the faculty, infrastructure and facilities are excellent as IITs. 2) In LPU, due to tie ups with leading companies such as SAP, Cognizant, Microsoft, BOSCH, CISCO, GOOGLE etc. , the syllabus of courses are vetted and inspected by these company professionals in the beginning of every semester. 3) The preparation of placement subjects such as soft skills, analytical skills etc. Are the part of curriculum here like, you will read these as subjects in every semester like other subjects. 4) There are more than twelve Center of Excellence established by the prestigious companies like Automation Any ware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence etc. For on campus Lab training and internships 5) The innovation studio of LPU is a benchmark for design and development center where students can work on their ideas. In 2019, during PM Narendra Modi visit to LPU for Indian Science Congress address, he was visited to main venue from helipad in Driver less car which was designed by LPU students using artificial intelligence. 6) LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. 7) LPU has 100% placement track record. You need to qualify the LPU entrance test to get admission and also you must meet the eligibility criteria. LPU is a very good option to pursue engineering. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

No worries if you didn't qualify JEE Mains still you can join LPU but you need to clear the eligibility norms. The eligibility 60% in 10+2 with (English, Physics & Mathematics ) will have to appear in LPU NEST whereas those who have scored 90% in +2 or scored 90 percentile in JEE Mains are exempted from LPU NEST. Yes definitely, LPU is the right option. Earlier, I was not much aware of the university but when my neighbourer took admission in LPU, every other day she talked about the laurels which university had and the continuous efforts which university puts. I can highlight some of the key features of CSE being floated by LPU. Computer Science Engineering Programmes of LPU have been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future engineers, managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. The stress is laid on developing analytical, communication and decision making skills of students. The students are encouraged to undertake assignments/project work from the industry and work towards finding possible solutions to integrate their theoretical knowledge with industrial practices. Dear Ayush, I haven't applied for JEE, so I choose LPU for B.Tech and today I am proud to say that I am an Alumni of LPU. You need to worry at all if you are not able to qualify JEE Mains, LPU is definitely the good option. However, for LPU you need to clear their entrance exam, I. e. In my opinion, you should opt for B.Tech CSE in LPU. One of my friends did B.Tech (CSE) from Lovely Professional University and she is working in Capgemini now. LPU is good in all perspectives whether it is teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. My lot of friends have done B.Tech, M.Tech from LPU and they have wonderful experience and they are doing great in their fields with handsome salary packages. LPU provides specialisation also in Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Machine Learning, Full Stack Web Development, Big Data, etc. With a great curriculum which is benchmarked with foreign universities. Placements are also good. CSE students got placement in Amazon with a package of 28 Lacs per annum. As per the last year record of LPU The average packages in CSE are from 4 to 10lakh per annum. LPU prepares student for placement by giving lot of extra inputs like personality development class, soft skills class etc. I believe that you should visit LPU campus or you can contact from the website.
