Is LPU good for mechanical engineering?

In LPU, various company used to come for mechanical engineers, so they are supposed to study CSE subject, so that they can get placed with average salary.

It is an engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal etc. Specialisation. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation and still working for more. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. So, LPU will be an university I will suggest from where you can pursue your higher studies.

Undoubtedly LPU is the right option, I can say this on the basis of feedback of my nephew who did his B.Tech in ME from LPU. As we all know that B.Tech Mechanical Engineering is the branch of engineering that involves production, designing, and operations of machines and the main objective of LPU is to prepare students for applying the principles of mechanical engineering for designing, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems. He told that LPU provides the different areas under study such as Applied Mechanics, Machine Design, Materials Engineering, manufacturing Engineering and many more. Furthermore, he mentioned that the Mechanical Department of LPU has highly experienced and qualified staff pursuing their research in thrust areas such as CAD/CAM, Mechanical design, Thermal engineering, Fluid dynamics, Manufacturing Engineering, Tool design and Flexible Manufacturing Systems/Automation. The Department has to its credit more than 100 research publications in International, National Journals including prestigious ASME Transactions, International Conference and National Conference. The companies which have visited in LPU are Asahi Glass India Ltd, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Anglo, Eastern Ship management, Zycus, Think and Learn, Cactus Communications, XL Dynamics, Lava International, Unisys, JET Airways, ELGI (Off Campus), Daikin Air-conditioning, Honda and many more. LPU is a premier university of India with top placement records and world class infrastructure. LPU is very good for mechanical engineering due to well established labs, workshops and industry driven curriculum. One of my known done his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from LPU and he got placed in Maruti Suzuki with good package. LPU has tie ups with more than 650 national and international companies for academics and placements of his students. So, as per my opinion you can proceed for admission in LPU upto 31 May,2020. Here I want to update you. Due to COVID-19, LPU supports admission to his students by online mode with certain changes in process. I suggest you to visit university website or call on their toll free number for more information. LPU is also offering various scholarships to students in this pandemic situation. Yes, LPU is good for mechanical engineering. All the faculty members are highly educated and they teach each and every topic in very easy way. All the facilities and available for every course. Placements are also very good.

Anikethan, LPU is a brand in itself. It has been ranked as one of the best universities by various agencies on the basis of its infrastructure, its placements, its pedagogy, its faculty, to mention a few. The university leaves no stone unturned to shape the future of its students. It is definitely the first choice of both national and international students. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. The engineering stream at LPU itself has received an overall good rating from students and alumni. The School of Mechanical Engineering offers well engineered seamless courses for students at many different levels such as undergraduate, Diploma/certificate, post-graduate and research based Ph.D. level courses, not only for Mechanical Engineering, but also for Automobile, Aerospace Engineering, Robotics and Mechatronics as well.

Hello! LPU offers a very extensive and well-designed mechanical engineering course. An Engineering program which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place for Design, Manufacturing, Thermal etc. specialization.The Mechanical Engineering department had the most ideal study environment since I have two friends from that stream. The labs and workspace at LPU School of Mechanical Engineering, was fully equipped with all the necessary machinery that was required for our wholesome learning. While doing my B. Tech at LPU, we were provided with many opportunities to get national as well as international exposure. While at the university, every now and then we were allowed to attend conferences and talk sessions conducted by many august personas who have achieved much in the field of science and engineering. I, a regular student, didn't do much research work while I was there, but many of my friends got the opportunity to present their research papers at international congregations, which is a fine accomplishment for any engineering student. Friendly professors, alumnus of the top engineering colleges of the country were always very supportive of our study techniques and provided professional advice whenever we needed help, rather than mindlessly leaving us hanging! Engineering is naturally tough and with the scope of engineering now merging into the business stream, with B.Tech students opting to go into MBA and other commercial streams, the faculty members at the Department will be able to help you make the decision that is right for you! LPU has also been ranked among top 100 by NIRF ranking recently. You were asking about the status of LPU Mechanical engineering, right. If you choose to get into the Mechanical Engineering branch of LPU, passing any course, you will be able to take part in the campus placements where top companies from across the company come for recruitment that is a given with LPU.
