Is LPU ICAR approved?

YES indeed, LPU is the first private university in India that has got the ICAR accreditation which is a huge milestone for LPU in Science field. Undoubtedly, studying B.Sc. Agriculture in LPU will give an upper edge to the students because of robust curriculum and the space area which they provide for agricultural practices. Further, LPU also provides numerous scholarships and benefits of it can be availed by students. As I am an alumnus of LPU from Science background I, have visited the greenhouse and agricultural fields, which I must say are very vast and the on-going projects are significant and impactful. LPU also offers various career pathways and depending upon students caliber the guidance is provided accordingly. In summation I would strongly recommend LPU for pursuing B.Sc. Agriculture as LPU moulds each person in such a way so that one can fit in this competitive world.

Yes, LPU is ICAR approved. In fact, LPU is the first private university that got ICAR approval. LPU is spread over 600 acres of campus and 1200+ acres of agricultural land (especially for agriculture students) having 3000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff. Many students come there across the world which made me feel like in a foreign country. The school of Agriculture was approved for accreditation for a period of five years at LPU with a GPAC of 3.42The following degree programs were approved for accreditation for a period of five years. Being an educational consultant, I used to check approvals of all the reputed universities. Therefore, I can say that yes, LPU is ICAR approved. In fact, this is the first private university that got ICAR approval. Under this accreditation, various agricultural-based degree programmes of LPU have been approved by ICAR. LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 1 crore LPA, while many failed to do so. On an average the Agriculture students of LPU is offered and placed in the starting package of 5.5 TO 6 LPA (Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that. Like I said, LPU will provide you the platform and the opportunity, but it is really you who have to go and perform on the platform being provided.
