    YES indeed, LPU is the first private university in India that has got the ICAR accreditation which is a huge milestone for LPU in Science field. Undoubtedly, studying B.Sc. Agriculture in LPU will give an upper edge to the students because of robust curriculum and the space area which they provide for agricultural practices.     Yes, LPU is ICAR approved. In fact, LPU is the first private university that got ICAR approval. LPU is spread over 600 acres of campus and 1200+ acres of agricultural land (especially for agriculture students) having 3000+ students and 3500+ faculty and staff. Many students come there across the world which made me feel like in a foreign country. The school of Agriculture was approved for accreditation for a period of five years at LPU with a GPAC of 3.42The following degree programs were approved for accreditation for a period of five years.     LPU is the only private university that has ICAR approval. LPU students got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio SEED Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved.     Dear aspirant, Yes, LPU got the ICAR accreditation recently and it is the first private university to get the accreditation. LPU is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India.
