Is my decision right of taking admission in LPU for B.Tech CSE? I got 80% in 12th CBSE board.

    Dear Dushyant,
    From a few years, the demand of Computer graduates is very high in industries and IT sectors due to increment in application and software based automation processes. So, your choice of course is absolutely perfect to begin your career. Well every university is doing good for their students but as per my knowledge I can give you the insight of LPU as my cousin did B Tech from here and she is placed in cognizant with good salary package.
    1) In LPU, the faculty, infrastructure and facilities are excellent as IITs, NITs.

    In my opinion yes it is a fine opinion as Lovely professional university is a well renowned university. LPU is one of the best Universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern technologies and qualified faculties. The University is having tie-ups with foreign universities and also provides an opportunities like International Exposure and Credit transfer to their students.     Yes, it is your right decision for getting admission at LPU for CSE with 80% marks in class 12th board. Well, if you are still in doubt then I would like to let you know some of the placements of the university which students got after CSE.
    If you join the LPU for CSE branch, as there will be a number of companies that will visit LPU, especially for CSE when compared to other branches. The major reasons for visiting the number of companies is you will be having a number of Skills that you have learned from the first year onwards like HTML, JAVASCRIPT, Operating Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, C, C+, DBMS, Java, SAP.

    1. Academics: 2 stars. Most of the faculty in ECE, mechanical, civil is not experienced. You will definitely lose interest in academics. You have to go for NPTEL lectures for understanding the subject. Labs are just average.
    2. Course fee: You will get scholarship if you got good score in high school.
    3. Library: 4 stars. Central Library is huge and you find almost any book related to academics and some books are not in adequate amount.
    4. Hostels: 4 stars. Hostel is very good. Wi-Fi facility is not available from 9 am to 5 pm.

    Yes, LPU is a very good choice for B.Tech CSE.
    LPU is a single campus private university in India located in Jalandhar, Punjab with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members with more than 200 programmes .

    Yes, CSE is the best branch to go for in LPU. It has a wonderful curriculum with so many exposures and worthy placements. The highest placement has been INR 42 lacs per annum so far by a CSE student of LPU last year.
