Is my decision right of taking admission in LPU for B.Tech CSE? I got 80% in 12th CBSE board.

Dear Dushyant, From a few years, the demand of Computer graduates is very high in industries and IT sectors due to increment in application and software based automation processes. So, your choice of course is absolutely perfect to begin your career. Well every university is doing good for their students but as per my knowledge I can give you the insight of LPU as my cousin did B Tech from here and she is placed in cognizant with good salary package. 1) In LPU, the faculty, infrastructure and facilities are excellent as IITs, NITs. 2) In LPU, due to tie ups with leading companies such as SAP, Cognizant, Microsoft, BOSCH, CISCO, GOOGLE etc. , the syllabus of courses are vetted and inspected by these company professionals in the beginning of every semester. 3) The preparation of placement subjects such as soft skills, analytical skills etc. Are the part of curriculum here like, you will read these as subjects in every semester like other subjects. 4) There are more than twelve Center of Excellence established by the prestigious companies like Automation Any ware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence etc. For on campus Lab training and internships 5) The innovation studio of LPU is a benchmark for design and development center where students can work on their ideas. In 2019, during PM Narendra Modi visit to LPU for Indian Science Congress address, he was visited to main venue from helipad in Driver less car which was designed by LPU students using artificial intelligence. 6) LPU has his own space shuttle program, where students and faculty members are working on satellite program with the joint help of ISRO. So, these are the few points of LPU which will help you for your decision to begin your career.

In my opinion yes it is a fine opinion as Lovely professional university is a well renowned university. LPU is one of the best Universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern technologies and qualified faculties. The University is having tie-ups with foreign universities and also provides an opportunities like International Exposure and Credit transfer to their students. The university provides scholarships to the students who have a good academic background or otherwise student can avail a better scholarship by giving an entrance exam i.e. LPUNEST. Therefore based on your percentage you also qualify to avail the scholarship benefits. The University has been ranked high by the foreign agencies. Several big brands of the industry visited LPU for the placement purpose like Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, Dell etc. The curriculum incorporates specific courses under the notion of Professional Enhancement Programmes which helps students to pass through the Placement process. In the year 2019, student named Tanya Arora (CSE Student) has bagged Rs 42 Lakh job offer from Microsoft. In addition to above, students can also get themselves involved in the extracurricular activities which are arranged by Department of Student Welfare.

University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes from the first year onward, it may be Soft-Skills, G.D, presentations, Extempores, Technical Interviews, Personal Interviews.to make the students crack their dream companies Placements and Internships Opportunities offered by the University placement department (Division of Career Services, DCS) ensure that students get hands-on experience in working in the industry. Hello Dushyant 1. Academics: 2 stars. Most of the faculty in ECE, mechanical, civil is not experienced. You will definitely lose interest in academics. You have to go for NPTEL lectures for understanding the subject. Labs are just average. 2. Course fee: You will get scholarship if you got good score in high school. 3. Library: 4 stars. Central Library is huge and you find almost any book related to academics and some books are not in adequate amount. 4. Hostels: 4 stars. Hostel is very good. Wi-Fi facility is not available from 9 am to 5 pm. 5. Food: 2 stars.You find both North and South Indian mess. Food is very bad. It is better not to opt any type of food. 6. Canteens: You find a number of canteens around the hostels till 10 to 11pm. Non veg (eggs included) not allowed inside the campus. If you do, you will be fined or suspended from the university for maximum of upto a week. 7. Culture: Unity in Diversity is the motto of LPU and it follows it strictly. You will find students from all states. Also, you find students from Africa, Sri Lanka, Afghanisthan etc. 8. Placements:1star. After completion of your engineering, it doesn't matter which branch you are from You get good placement if your scores are good. All the best

Yes, LPU is a very good choice for B.Tech CSE. LPU is a single campus private university in India located in Jalandhar, Punjab with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members with more than 200 programmes . LPU has a beautiful campus with a great infrastructure with all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation and still working for more. Yes, CSE is the best branch to go for in LPU. It has a wonderful curriculum with so many exposures and worthy placements. The highest placement has been INR 42 lacs per annum so far by a CSE student of LPU last year.
