Is my decision right of taking admission in LPU for B.Tech CSE? I got 80% in 12th CBSE board.

LPU stands at number 36 worldwide rankings and subject wise it is number 9 in computer sciences. The numbers are with LPU. As far as LPU is concerned, B Tech in CSE is a much sought after programme at LPU. There is competition and if you have cleared the test and fulfilled the pre conditions you should be proud and get back to studies. This decision will take you far ahead in future. Since, the domain of computers is protean. This programme aims at producing graduates with a wide understanding of the Computer Science and Engineering Discipline so that they can be open and adaptable to upcoming changes. The programme aims at providing the students a competitive edge through robust curriculum and hands-on learning in niche technologies to develop competence that caters to the requirements of the industry. It primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with a strong focus on courses related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, program design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking, etc. that are needed to build and solve problems using computers. There are over 700+ tie ups with industries and companies to support academic and placement of his students. An LPU student Tanya Arora got placed in Microsoft with 42 LPA.
