Yes, it is a good decision to do MCA. For doing MCA, Mathematics is mandatory either in class 12th or graduation. You are a commerce student (class 12th) and you have not studied mathematics in class 12th, but you will study mathematics in graduation, if you choose BCA and would be eligible for doing MCA. The course emphasis on the latest programming languages and tools to develop better and faster applications. BCA makes a base while MCA adds a specialized touch in the subjects studied in BCA. Eligibility: Students who have done their graduation in any discipline like Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering, BCA / B.Sc IT/ B.Sc CS from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course. Aspirants should have studied Mathematics subject in the 10+2 standard or graduation level. The qualifying examination must be passed with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST category candidates). The job opportunities are also increased to a larger scale with better job profiles. The pay scale of a BCA graduate after MCA is more. MCA course will be icing in the cake, as you can grab fat paychecks in reputed organizations. Both are equally good, and the choice should depend upon the candidates interests, skills, and aptitude. Yes, After Completing the BCA course, if you can do MCA then in the future You will get good Jobs with a high salary package. But it totally depends on your interest, If you are interested in further study, then MCA is the best option for you because these days there are no jobs available for Bachelor's degree candidates.
