Is pursuing MCA after completing BCA a good decision?

BCA is a very career-oriented course. I will give you some examples of my family members. My two brothers and an uncle did BCA. What they are currently doing is:- 1. My uncle started his job in RANBAXY company at a salary of 8k per month in 2004 in Delhi. He was a genius in his work, so he got promoted quickly. After some years, he did MCA from distant learning. Currently his salary is around 60k PM. 2. My the eldest brother did BCA from a small town. Initially he struggled for job. Then he did one more technical course for 6 months. Then he got his job ( with reference) in HCL company. Due to his introvert nature he couldn't succeed much in 4 years. Then he returned home where he is working at a private firm at a salary of 12K pm. He is now trying for government teacher and doing B.Ed sidewise.

Yes, it's surely a good option to pursue MCA after BCA but it will be even better if you work for some time after your BCA and get some work experience before going for MCA. Good luck.

Hello Celestine, Absolutely, pursuing MCA after completing BCA is a good decision because you can relate yourself to it. You can get a better job or a job equivalent to engineering degree after doing MCA.
