Is the value of pursuing regular Diploma in pharmacy and pursuing the same from a distance open university (IGNOU) same?

Technically both have the equal value from government. Job point of view, but private companies prefers to take regular Diploma holders in place of distance students. Further campus placement opportunities are not available with distance learning students. Hence prefer to study the Diploma in pharmacy in regular mode.
