    B.Sc Agriculture is a good course with good placement opportunities, as you can be employed by any private or government firm or you can start your own work or even you can start your career as a lecturer.

    There are plenty of government as well as private sector jobs available for B.Sc Agriculture graduates. They can be appointed as Research Officer, Quality Assurance Officer, Agriculture Officer, Agriculture Loan Officer (in Banks), Production Manager, Operations Manager and Farm Manager with state agriculture departments. In the private sector, agriculture science graduates may find jobs as managers at plantations, as officers at fertilizer manufacturing firms, agriculture machinery industries, agricultural products marketing firms, food processing units, etc. After doing B.Sc.     Yes, there is a vast scope in B.Sc in agriculture.
    You can get a good job in any of the following industries after completing B.Sc in agriculture:
    1. Seed industry
    2. Pesticide industry
    3. Farm product industry
    You can also get a good government job. If you want, you can opt for higher education too.

    Lots of Government as well as Private job opportunities are present in front of Graduates. Talking about Government jobs, State Agriculture Departments recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level posts. Government Banks also recruits Graduates to fill up Officer level posts (generally dealing with Loans). Talking about Private Sector jobs, graduates may find jobs as Managers at Plantations, as Officers at Fertilizer Manufacturing firms, Agriculture Machinery Industries, Agricultural Products Marketing firms, Food processing units etc.

    Agricultural graduates are absorbed as 'Agricultural Development Officers' by state governments. Banks also have special posts as specialist officers for agricultural graduates. A billion dollar private sector industry exists in contract farming, fertilizer, pesticide, /agrochemicals, farm forestry etc. That hires agricultural graduates. If you do MBA in agribusiness management and are upwardly mobile sky is the limit for salaries/perks offered.     Hi,
    Job can be achieved in private and public sectors after doing B.Sc in agriculture. In public sector firms, one can get employed as an Agricultural Research Scientist (ARS). To get employed into this position, it is needed for the applicants to write an admission test. Applicants can also become teachers. They can write the ARS-NET exam and get employed in colleges as lecturers.
    Candidates can also become Agriculture Development Officers (ADO) or Block Development Officers. Including employment in encompass banks, Dairy consultancies, insurance companies and the animal industry.
