Is there scope in B.Sc agriculture?

I did MBA from LPU, During my post graduation years I had few friends from agriculture department, Sometimes I used to visit fields, Labs with them they also discussed about placements, academic, placements etc. So I have Idea about this course. An Agriculture course will give you better career opportunities in both government and private sectors. You can also go for teaching jobs as Assistant Professor or Lecturer. If you have an interest in research work then also you can pursue M.Sc. Scope of B.Sc. Hons. Agriculture is not limited to Domestic base rather its been accepted globally in different career aspects or profiles like Corporate job, Government Job, Teaching, Research etc. Salary is competitive enough as it is unique field. Dear Aniket, B.Sc. In Agriculture has a very good career scope. Competitive exams such as UPSC FCI, and other government jobs abound after B.Sc. In Agriculture. Public and private companies also offer jobs, many of who come for campus placements too. Options go on to journalism in the agricultural sector, state government jobs, insurance sector jobs, research, and teaching. My friend did this programme at LPU and got placed in Rallis India Pvt Ltd during on-campus placement. LPU is the first private university that got approval from ICAR. (I). The school of Agriculture was approved for accreditation for a period of five years with a GPAC of 3.42 (ii) The following degree programs were approved for accreditation for a period of five years B.Sc. (Hons. ). Agriculture with GPAP of 3.72 Last year, their agriculture student from LPU bagged a Package of 1 CRORE. LPU students have got top packages from leading Agriculture companies. In Agriculture is really worth doing because the population today is gradually increasing every year, which may result in a food crisis in the near future and at such time the government will require professionals and graduates to study and analyze the cause and come up with a solution. B.Sc. Agriculture is a 4-year undergraduate professional course offered by various government and private universities in India. The demand for graduates with a degree in agriculture is increasing every day in India and abroad. Course fees are also considerably lower in comparison to other professional degrees, while rewarding with good jobs and a better package. Best colleges/Universities for B.Sc.
