    Executive Master (EM) or Master of Advanced Studies (MAS) is an advanced level of master's degree designed especially for mid-career executive professionals. Common titles of the degree are executive master of arts, executive master of science or area specific titles like executive master of business administration, executive master of communication or Executive Master of Advanced Studies in Humanitarian Logistics and Management (MASHLM), etc.

    Yes, in top B-school to pursue executive MBA, work experience is mandatory, but not in the case of every B-school .It is one year program for working professional, So, as the word suggest, that you require work experience, if you want to pursue your degree program from top B-school .
    Minimum 3 year work experience is required to pursue MBA from top B-school. But, there are B-school which offers admission without any work experience to the student who want to take admission.     Executive MBA/PGDM are for those professionals who want to fast track their career growth. MBA is offered by a university and PGDM is offered by those colleges which are not universities.
    For executive MBA/PGDM, experience is the first and must condition for admissions. The Amount of experience varies from 5 years to 10 years for admissions to various B-Schools like IIMs, etc.
    It is meant for the people who have gained a good amount of experience in their domain and working area.

    Hi,
    MBA executive is a MBA course meant for the working professionals, who would like to complete MBA along with their job. Usually, these are conducted on weekends to accommodate these professional. The course is for the period of 1 year. And hence, work experience is mandatory for pursuing executive MBA. The requirement and course schedule might differ from college to college. However, this is the usual case.
    However, PGDM is similar to the regular MBA. In most cases, work experience is not mandatory, but most of the top business institutes gives preference to work experience and some of them make it mandatory.

    No, work experience is not compulsory for getting admission in executive MBA /PGDM program.
    Study has no bounds. You can study at any age if you have such eager as well as interest to study anything. So MBA program has a minimum age criteria for studying MBA is 21years. So if anyone is of 21 years or more, whether experienced or fresher, he/she can study MBA.     Yes, it is mandatory to have work experience in order to pursue executive MBA. The whole purpose of the course is for working professionals to pursue the course without interrupting their career. So, the classes are mostly conducted on weekends. The duration of the course and experience required varies depending on the college.

    Yes, this is mandatory to have work experience to do executive MBA/PGDM. That course has been introduced for senior manager for duration of one year only. Requirement of work experience varies from college to college.
