Lpu or Amity university which one is the right choice for civil?

Lovely Professional University is one of the best institutes for engineering in the state of Punjab. So if a degree in B.Tech (Civil engineering) is what you seek, I suggest that you do consider LPU. I have sound reasons to actually make this suggestion. Lovely Professional University is the only private university in India that has attained the NABL accreditation in the field of mechanical testing of building and construction materials. With better theoretical and practical knowledge, students are much more competent than any other university. Actually I did MBA from Lovely Professional University but I have one friend who has done B.Tech Civil Engineering From LPU. He told me B.Tech in civil engineering course involves so much more than theoretical know-how. In addition to classroom lectures, students here learn via hands-on experiences which include site visits, lab sessions and so on. PPTs, animations and similar technological techniques are a regular part of classroom teaching too. The course material provided here enables to practice civil engineering using up-to-date techniques, skills, and tools as a result of life-long learning ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data. The course benefits the students by giving them an understanding of professional, ethical, legal, security and social issues and responsibilities. The Department aims to provide students with a technical foundation incorporated with the industrial need together with the breadth needed in the profession via advanced study or field training, or as a base for other pursuits. Hi dear, Well, Civil engineering reminds me of my best friend. I am myself not an Engineering student but last year my best friend completed M.Tech civil from LPU. So, with that exposure, I can suggest anybody to choose LPU for civil. As much as I know, she was fully satisfied with academic things and also they provide open minors and open electives. With project, she had a good and understanding supervisor and possibly two of her papers got published also. If asking for GATE to me, if you wanna gor to IITs and NITs, then you need to drop a year andf qualify GATE first. But if you join LPU or any other college to pursue M.Tech, then you can appear in GATE test anytime during the degree also. You only need to qualify LPU NEST to get admission in LPU, then despite all there is brilliant faculty that can even guide you to qualify any state level exam. Hope this helps. Thanks.

The consortium of former LPU alumni and an active group of engineering professionals with a sound civil background share their experience on various technologies, industries, methodologies, and processes adapted by many MNC. Moreover, Intellectual Industry officials regularly visit the school to guide faculty members and students themselves. Workshops are being arranged for enhancing student knowledge. School of Civil Engineering, Lovely Professional University, has signed MOU with NHAI for giving paid internship opportunities to our existing Civil Engineering students. Learning by Doing, in which fresher students of the school of civil engineering prepared the building models under the guidance of faculty. The placements are excellent. Civil Engineering students are placed in national and international organizations like Al-Rakha, Simplex, Cognizant Soma enterprises, L&T, Gammon, Zamil Infra, Unisys, Tech Mahindra, Xceedance, etc.
