Lpu or Amity university which one is the right choice for civil?

As a part of LPU, I would say that it is the best University that one can join. LPU has helped me grow professionally and also help in providing exposure in terms of placements, internships, workshops, guest lectures, etc. I am saying this as per my experience at LPU. Quality of education, placements and well being of the students are the prime focus of LPU. Scholarships, placements, exposure to industry, international internships and placements efficient and knowledgeable faculty, flexible curriculum and teaching pedagogies, infrastructure and diverse culture make LPU unmatchable. LPU provides opportunities to students to avail Internship / On-Job Training with the industry and they are paid certain monthly stipends. At LPU, it is not about calling companies, it is about preparing students and making sure that they get selected. The university puts its best efforts into the grooming of the students to get good placements.

LPU is the best to pursue civil engineering. LPU has its student organisation known as DSA, which conducts various events and competitions to bring forth creativity and to award the best engineer in the making.

LPU is better for civil engineering. One of the oldest and the broadest engineering disciplines, Civil Engineering involves planning, designing, constructing, maintaining and supervising infrastructures which include facilities essential to modern life like highways, bridges and tunnels, schools, hospitals, airports and other buildings, sewage systems and water treatment facilities. Subsequently, the course also involves protecting the public and environmental health as well as improving existing infrastructure. An Engineering programme which articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology through lab practice and projects to gain knowledge in areas like Structural, Environmental & Highway Engineering, Construction Management etc. Which are in sync with industry requirements. Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants) HIGHLIGHTS Credit Transfer Student after successful completion of 2 years.
