Hello readers. I hope all are good. LPU has flexible admission criteria, and while a 49% may be below the typical cut-off for some courses, you may still be eligible for admission based on LPUNEST (LPU's entrance exam) or direct merit-based admission, depending on the program you are applying for. It's best to check the specific course eligibility criteria on LPU's official website or contact the admission office for guidance. Additionally, LPU offers various scholarships that could help if you meet certain criteria.

    Dear reader,

Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers a range of programs with specific admission eligibility criteria designed to ensure that students are well-prepared for their chosen fields. For undergraduate programs, candidates typically need to have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) with a minimum percentage, depending on the program. For postgraduate programs, a relevant bachelor's degree is required. Additionally, LPU conducts entrance tests for certain courses, while others may accept national-level entrance exam scores. The university also considers merit-based admissions, ensuring a fair and transparent se

    Hello,

With a percentage of 49%, you may not meet the standard eligibility requirements for admission to LPU for some courses. However, I recommend reaching out to the LPU admission office or a counselor directly to discuss your situation. LPU often provides various options, including special consideration for certain courses or entry through the LPUNEST entrance exam, which could help you meet the eligibility criteria.

Counselors at LPU can guide you on alternative routes or possible programs that might suit your profile. They may also inform you about any preparatory or foundation courses that could bridge the gap and hel

With 49% in 12th, getting direct admission to B.Tech CSE at LPU may be difficult since the minimum requirement is 60% in 12th (for most cases). However, there are a few options you can explore:

    1. LPUNEST Exam

    • LPU conducts its own entrance exam (LPUNEST), and sometimes, students with lower 12th percentages can still get admission if they score well in LPUNEST.
    • You should check if LPU has any relaxation for LPUNEST-qualified candidates.

    2. Diploma to B.Tech (Lateral Entry)

    • If direct admission isn't possible, you can do a Diploma in Engineering and then apply for B.Tech Lateral Entry at LPU.

    3. Alternative Courses

    • If B.Tech CSE isn't possible,

Subject to passing the qualifying LPUNEST, participants must have a pass grade of 60% overall in 10+2 (with English) or its equivalent.
If the candidate passed his qualifying test with English as his language of instruction, the English requirement may be waived for the candidate who has not taken English as a subject.
(5% relaxation for candidates, defense personnel, their dependents, and wards of Kashmiri migrants from the Northeast and Sikkim)

10% relaxation for exceptional athletes (i.e., in the A/A+ category according to the Sports Scholarship), subject to confirmation by the university's selection committee*.

Hi, In order to get any admission in LPU you need to qualify the eligibility criteria which will depend on the domain that you are seeking admission. Along with that you also need to appear for LPUNEST exam which will again depend on the course that you are seeking admission. LPUNEST will also be helpful for scholarship in admission and would depend on the cut off scores.
LPU has widened the horizon of the scholarship in order to provide and extend support to the deserving candidates.
Scholarships are awarded to candidates based on their performance on any of the following categories:
