    Hello,

With a percentage of 49%, you may not meet the standard eligibility requirements for admission to LPU for some courses. However, I recommend reaching out to the LPU admission office or a counselor directly to discuss your situation. LPU often provides various options, including special consideration for certain courses or entry through the LPUNEST entrance exam, which could help you meet the eligibility criteria.

Counselors at LPU can guide you on alternative routes or possible programs that might suit your profile. They may also inform you about any preparatory or foundation courses that could bridge the gap and hel

    Dear reader,

Lovely Professional University (LPU) offers a range of programs with specific admission eligibility criteria designed to ensure that students are well-prepared for their chosen fields. For undergraduate programs, candidates typically need to have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) with a minimum percentage, depending on the program. For postgraduate programs, a relevant bachelor's degree is required. Additionally, LPU conducts entrance tests for certain courses, while others may accept national-level entrance exam scores. The university also considers merit-based admissions, ensuring a fair and transparent se

With 49% in 12th, getting direct admission to B.Tech CSE at LPU may be difficult since the minimum requirement is 60% in 12th (for most cases). However, there are a few options you can explore:

    1. LPUNEST Exam

    • LPU conducts its own entrance exam (LPUNEST), and sometimes, students with lower 12th percentages can still get admission if they score well in LPUNEST.
    • You should check if LPU has any relaxation for LPUNEST-qualified candidates.

    2. Diploma to B.Tech (Lateral Entry)

    • If direct admission isn't possible, you can do a Diploma in Engineering and then apply for B.Tech Lateral Entry at LPU.

    3. Alternative Courses

    • If B.Tech CSE isn't possible,

Hi there, I will give you a brief overview of LPUs programs. The eligibility for B Com, BCA, and BBA is 50 percent. For BA the eligibility is pass marks in any discipline.
For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North-East states and Sikkim candidates or Defense Personnel and their Dependents or Wards of Kashmiri Migrants). There is no rounding off. You can see where you can fit in as per your interests and proceed with your admission accordingly. For further details, you may visit

Yes, you can still apply for admission to Lovely Professional University (LPU), even with a 49% in your previous academic qualifications. LPU values potential, dedication, and growth rather than just academic scores. The university has an inclusive admission policy that considers various criteria, including entrance exam performance, personal achievements, and motivation, not solely the percentage.

LPU offers the LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test), which can significantly improve your chances of admission. A good score in LPUNEST can help you secure a seat, and depending on your performance,

Yes, you can still apply for admission to Lovely Professional University (LPU) even with a 49% aggregate in your 12th grade. LPU has a flexible and inclusive admission process, which means that academic percentages are not the only factor considered for entry.

For many undergraduate programs, such as BBA, B.Com, and certain diploma courses, LPU offers direct admission based on class 12th marks. While the minimum requirement for some programs is usually around 50%, students with slightly lower percentages may still be considered under special circumstances, especially if they meet other eligibility criteria or demonstrate potential in ex

Subject to passing the qualifying LPUNEST, participants must have a pass grade of 60% overall in 10+2 (with English) or its equivalent.
If the candidate passed his qualifying test with English as his language of instruction, the English requirement may be waived for the candidate who has not taken English as a subject.
(5% relaxation for candidates, defense personnel, their dependents, and wards of Kashmiri migrants from the Northeast and Sikkim)

10% relaxation for exceptional athletes (i.e., in the A/A+ category according to the Sports Scholarship), subject to confirmation by the university's selection committee*.

It depends on the course eligibility in which you are interested. As per the current scenario of Lockdown and covid 19 , you can take admission to LPU by going to their website even though I took admission with the online mode in 2019 even at that time I had more options like out campus admission offices and in-campus admission.
Go to the LPU website, Choose your course but yes check the eligibility carefully then follow the steps which will given on the interface
