Yes, you can get admission in LPU, but you will not be eligible for any sort of scholarship as percentage of your class 12th grade is low. Else, you can give LPUNEST exam, so that you might get some of the percentage of scholarship. All the best.

If your +2 percentage is 49, then you can't get admission. So, sorry for that.
  • The eligibility for BA (Journalism & Mass Communication) is 50% with English.
We give 5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates / Defense Personnel and their Dependents/Wards of Kashmiri Migrants.
If you belong to any of these categories, then you can apply for admissions.
Our admission process is already started. You can apply for admissions from this link- https://www.lpu.in/programmes/ba-in-journalism-and-mass-communication
Initially you can apply for provisional admissions in which you have to 10,000 for tuition fee to just book your seat and remaining fee you can pay within 10-12 days.

    Dear friend,
In LPU, for some programmes 60% required and for some 50% required or for some just pass in your last qualifying exams.
If you are a candidate from North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmiri Migrants, then you can take admission on the programme for which the eligibility criteria requires 50% in the last qualifying exam. Because for such candidates, 5% relaxation is given in their marks in their last qualifying exam.
You can get admission on one of those programmes for which eligibility criteria is pass in 12th. For example, B.A. (Fine Arts), Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA

If you are concerned about admissions to B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication in LPU with such a percentage, then I don't think it is going to be possible, however one could always explore other options available in the same bracket. One of India's best Journalism and Animation colleges in Punjab, LPU Journalism and Mass Communication Discipline empowers and nourishes creative minds with its methodical curriculum that encompasses every aspect of industry including film-making and production, investigative journalism, animation films and more.

    Dear Aarohi,
Yes, you can get admission at LPU in BA in Journalism and Mass Communication
You just need to pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent.
For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium.
LPU is best for pursuing a B.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication) and M.A. As my cousin completed his degree last year. The program is designed to expose students to all dimensions of Print, Electronic, and New Age Media.
As we all know, Mass Communication is a medium of dispersing informati

It depends on the course eligibility in which you are interested. As per the current scenario of Lockdown and covid 19 , you can take admission to LPU by going to their website even though I took admission with the online mode in 2019 even at that time I had more options like out campus admission offices and in-campus admission.
Go to the LPU website, Choose your course but yes check the eligibility carefully then follow the steps which will given on the interface
