    There are many parameters, which you need to take care before deciding upon any college like:
    1. The ranking of the college.
    2. Faculty.
    3. Infrastructure.
    4. Placement which should be the top priority before selection of college.

    1. Your interests and strengths.
    2. College background/history-toppers or successful pass outs.
    3. College has a good academic reputation.
    4. Campus visits and placements.
    5. Area and location.
    6. The percentage of students that graduate from the college.
    7. College state or national wise ranking/rating.
    8. Investigate the job connections.

    You have certain targets in mind and you have to reach them. You examine whether the college stands to your scrutiny. For you, a satisfactory study comes first, followed by a good placement. The institutional respectability is very much important for you.

    It is all about the personal thinking, but one should ponder about the following points:
    1) College infrastructure
    2) University and its market value
    3) In-depth knowledge, experience, and education of faculty.
    4) Result of college
    5) Placement provided by the college
    6) Guest faculty visit (as a plus point)
    7) UGC recognition
    8) Participation or conduction of extracurricular activity

    There are several aspects that one should consider like ranking of college, affiliation, placements record, extra benefits apart from degree, and chances of internship.

    Don't you think that there are personal considerations also? In fact, they count much more. So, think of personal comfort also, in addition to the above -mentioned criteria.

    2 Infrastructure
    3 pedagogy
    4 Placements
    5 Industry connection
    6 College is accredited or not
    7 UGC or AICTE approvals
    8 Gender diversity in batch.
