4.20
(a) The position is given by = 3. 0t ? − 2.0t 2 ? + 4.0 ?
The velocity v is given by = = (3.0t ? − 2.0t 2 ? + 4.0 ?)
= 3.0 ? – 4.0t?
Acceleration = = (3.0 ? – 4.0t?) = – 4.0?
(b) At t = 2.0s
= 3.0 ? – 4.0t?
The magnitude of velocity is given by = (3.02 +- 8.02)0.5 = 8.54 m/s
Direction, = = = 69.44
