Hi Archita, Universities like Wollongong, Deakin and Macquarie offer courses in Literature. But as far as research is concerned you will have to send your research proposal to the research guide or the head of the department of these universities and find out if any research is going on in comparative literature or they would like someone to carry out research in this field. Once you are accepted you can apply for scholarship. In fact the faculty will themselves help you with details of scholarship and how to go about applying for it if you are eligible.

Hi Amar,
As Shiksha is an education portal which believes in giving unbiased guidance it would be unfair on my part to give my personal opinion or judgment about any particular Institute. I would say if you cannot go for a full time program go for correspondence programme from a University like IGNOU which is not only UGC, AICTE & DEC approved but also its degree is well received in job market.

Hi Avishek,
Few of the Institutes which you may consider in Kolkata are:
IILM Business School Kolkata
George College Kolkata
Institute of Business Management & Research Kolkata
Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Institute Of Management Science
Eastern Institute of Management
IIAS School of Management
Institute Of Business Management
NIS Academy Kolkata
NSHM Business School Kolkata
These are just the random selection as there is no public ranking or rating for the regional Institutes so, naming top 10 institutes would be difficult.
