Dear Siddharth,
You must start your studies from second year itself to give the CAT. You have to prepare throughly for this exam.
The CAT score required to take the admission into IIMs varies every year according to the CUT_OFF. The admission is done on the basis of CAT score + GD & PI.

Hi Rupesh, you will definitely get part time work if you look for one. Its not the part time work that is getting effected. The government has taken off the 2 years post study work visa. so students will have to come back to their home country after completing the course. For details on this you can visit https://ask.shiksha.com/dummy-qna-1607060 and http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/policyandlaw/statementsofchanges/2011/hc908.pdf?view=Binary

If you want to get into a good banking firm, i would recommend either pursuing a Masters in Finance degree or MBA in finance. Both the degrees would fetch you a career in the banking domain for sure.
