Hi,
Improvement exam is a way to improve your class 12th result by giving the board exam again next year. You will not be allowed to sit for exams with the ones who are writing compartment exam.
The exam is same as regular board exams and you get a whole year to prepare for the exam. For ex: If you have given 12 Boards 2013, then you are eligible for improvement exams to be conducted in March 2014.
-The examination would take place in March and the result will be declared in May.
-A candidate cannot appear for improvement examination in the subjects which he/she failed to pass.
-You cannot give improvement exam of additional subject and your practical marks will be carried forward for the next year’s result so you have to prepare only for the theory part.
-The fees per subject to be submitted is Rs.200 (may change).
-The Application Forms will be released in August till October and can be collected from regional offices or syndicate bank branches.
-The application forms for Improvement examination will be available from July onward. Each form will cost Rs.10. The forms can be collected from Syndicate Bank branches throughout Delhi and Regional Offices of CBSE for other regions.
-The results will be announced in the month of May at http://cbseresults.nic.in
-Candidates will be issued only Statement of Marks reflecting the marks of the improvement examination.
