Brahmadevdada Mane Institute of Technology is a very good college.Their placement statistics over the years has been very consistent and very good. Almost all of the students were placed in reputed companies like Infosys, Wipro. Many students also got internships from this college.The faculty in this college is also very reputed and intelligent.

The TNEA counseling is conducted by Anna University. It is conducted for all colleges in Tamil Nadu, not only for KEC - Kavery Engineering College. The result date for this is usually decided from the TNEA schedule released officially by the Tamil Nadu Government. Generally, results are announced 2-3 months after the process has started. For example, the process was started on 6th May 2024, and the results were announced on 13th August 2024. In 2025, the process was started on 7th May, and the ranks were allotted on 7th July.

To join KEC students must meet the eligibility criterias set by the Tamil Nadu government as well as the college itself. Admissions mostly take place based on the scores of last qualifying examination such as HSC (10+2) and for postgraduate programmes they may also consider TANCET scores.
