The name, KEC - Kavery Engineering College, is familiar in Tamil Nadu. Being NAAC accredited with 'A+', having operated since 2006 and emphasizing education in rural areas help give it recognition. Having major IT and core companies, well-established infrastructure and a quality online presence adds to the college's status as a leading private engineering college around it.

Kavery Engineering College has earned NAAC 'A+' accreditation which proves its high-quality education. Many take notice of the high and focused level of technical training it offers rural students. With close links to major IT companies and thanks to industrial visits and internships, many KEC students are placed in companies such as Infosys, TCS, Wipro and Hyundai. The college also gains a good reputation thanks to its smart classrooms, advanced laboratories and faculty that guide the overall development of every student.

Anna University usually declares the results of GCT - Gnanamani College of Technology semester exams about 3-4 months following the conclusion of the exams. For example, results for November/December 2024 were published in April 2025. Then, the April/May 2025 results will be reported in August 2025. On or before June 6, 2025, go to tneaonline.org and use TNEA 2025 counselling to start your application for B.E./B.Tech. You need to go through the form filling, fee payment, document upload and participating in online counselling sessions depending on your 10+2 marks. You can directly apply under the Management Quota through GCT's website (gct.org.in) and upload your academic information to get directly accepted.

Application process for GCT - Gnanamani College of Technology depends on which programme and route are being used. Usually, students apply for B.E./B.Tech through TNEA counselling which requires completing online registration (open until June 6, 2025) and showing documents for verification. You may also get admitted directly through the Management Quota, by filling out the online application on the GCT website. If you want to study MBA/MCA or M.E./M.Tech, admission is decided mainly by your TANCET/CEETA PG or GATE scores, and you need to attend the state-level counselling (registration and scorecard downloads required).
