Since you have done the field related to medical and too engineering too. Though, I would suggest you to take the decision on your privacy, comforts and taking your ambitions on scale. Medical is practically a costly field and a hard work to put into more theoretical knowledge for long and then into practical practise. Whereas engineering is cheaper and more practical application based. Take guidance from your peer and the ones who teach you or preferably your parents. Scope wise, both are best.

M.Com admission in Tezpur University will be based on the performance in the CUET (PG)-2023 conducted by NTA for PG programmes. The test paper code PGQP37 will be applicable for M.Com entrance exam in CUET-PG. As per the PGQP37 syllabus, Statistical Methods and Business Mathematics are the important parts of syllabus. So you have to prepare both of these subjects at least of Undergraduate level for CUET-PG exam if not studied earlier.

Not much of an issue but then for MBA you will have to toil hard. I feel you should opt for Integrated BBA-MBA, so that you don't have to worry about MBA. There are many good universities like LPU, NIIT, NMIMS, Doon University, etc., even some IIMs offer the integrated course. This will save you from the hassle of searching for an MBA college also, some of these universities offer it as a four years degree thereby saving your one academic year.
