For admission in BA, there is no any special requirement.
Just have to passed in 12th(intermediate) from recognised board (state or CBSE, ICSE).
Earlier the admission procedure was only offline through regional centre only But online system is available now simply go through ignou.ac.in and choose select program code and interested course code.
IGNOU take admission in two session I.e July session and December session.
Each course have different fee,for political sc 2000/year(6000 for all 3 year)
For e.g
If any one want to do B.A (graduation) from political science, Then the first year you have to read three compulsory course code (Humanities, foundation in Hindi, and foundation in English) and you can select two course of political science with credit of 16 (2 course each 8 credit), it is easy to do 16 credit in first year.
In 2nd year one course is compulsory I.e foundation in science and technology and rest courses have to select by your own interest, but at least 4 course in 2nd year (including S&T)
And in 3rd year, you have to compulsory read 2 application oriented course (it is very easy course ,one can do it in one week each)
For Honours degree, one must have to do 48 credit (one course is= 8 credit) in one particular subject ,for political science must have 48 credit in political science or For geography must 48 credit in geography.if any one fail to do 48 credit in single subject he will awarded only Graduation degree not with honours.
