There are many PSU companies and Indian Railway department where you can get the job after Diploma in ECE. If you have got at least 60% and above marks then you can easily get the jobs. Information about the vacancies in these companies keeps coming in the daily newspaper or the Employment Newspaper. The PSU companies where you have the chance of getting jobs are:
- SAIL
- NTPC
- BSNL
- MTNL
- BEL
- BHEL.

For B. Tech lateral, first, you have to complete 3 years diploma in your desired engineering stream without any backlog with 60% marks from a recognized institution/Board.
Further BSc graduate(Math) having 60% marks are also eligible for BTech lateral entry. Yours age must be in between 18-28 years. The following colleges/Universities are offering the Btech lateral programs as:-
1. Punjab University - Chandigarh2. IP University - Delhi3. Delhi Engineering College - Delhi4. Punjab University - Patiala5. KIITS University6. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology - Patiala7. Government College of Engineering - Pune8. Punjab Tech
