Most of the colleges in India that offer B.Sc Physics give direct admission on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2, which is determined by the cut-off lists generated by each college. The student can seek admission if his marks match with the cut off announced by a college.
Lateral Entry for B.Sc Physics
Some universities like Annamalai University, give admission to 2nd year for which the candidate must have cleared 1st year with minimum 75% marks from a recognized university.
Distance Mode Admission
NIMS University, IGNOU, School of Open Learning are some institutions that offer distance learning for those who cannot attend full time classes.

Passed in 10th Standard, with English as a separate subject with minimum 50% marks in English, AND passed in Diploma with 60%, AND passed Three years Degree through Lateral Entry with 50% marks in the streams mentioned above. The Diploma/degree courses must be recognized by any State or Central Government or AICTE.
