There are many course options available after 12th Science. You must opt for the one which matches your interest and skills as it will help you to achieve your long term career goal.
* With Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in 12th, you may go for engineering courses such as civil, mechanical, electronics etc. You may even opt for architecture courses.
[Eligibility criteria : complete 12th (PCM) with minimum 60% and sit for an entrance exam].
* With interest in Maths, you may opt for B.Sc Maths. Further, you may opt for Actuarial Science or specialized courses related to Maths.
* Apart from doing the degree level courses in Science with the conventional combinations you can also choose degree courses in several emerging professional areas such as computer, business administration.
* You can also opt for courses outside the university stream such as hotel management, fashion technology, aircraft maintenance engineering, government accredited computer courses.

The B.Com. programme provides a good knowledge base for a range of careers. These are broadly of two types:
Those in business and finance such as CA, company secretaryship (CS), cost and works accountants (ICWA), banking.
Others, including or related to Finance, Law, Mass Communication, Hotel Management, etc.
A commerce education can lead to jobs with corporations and banks as investment bankers, managers, financial consultants, accountants, advisers etc. Accountancy is key in this field and if you are good with numbers, you can excel as a CA. Even if you have not cleared the PCC. you can still get into finance-related careers through programmes such as ICWA and CS.
You may even consider diplomas in banking and finance, treasury management and financial planning offered by a number of institutes.
