Yes, indeed I feel engineering in automobile branch is an excellent idea. Even today index of development of a country is measured by number of automobiles sold. Besides, R&D spend of almost all companies is increasing perhaps keeping in mind pollution concerns. Totally, new concepts are coming on roads. It depends on your stream. With this score, the chances should be average. Maybe, civil and that too the last round of counselling. Moreover, you also need to appear for JEE exam.

CAT exam is having three sections reasoning, quantitative, English if you are poor at maths, then do as much as in both subjects, and for Maths do lot of practice. You will definitely get confidence, firstly do basic chapter from NCERT book of math question from class 6th to class 10th, and then do from RS Agarwal quantitative, you only get the difference for your level.

Cutoff marks or the all India ranking list or the number of students, who will qualify for JEE Advanced all these three are almost one and the same thing. This is likely to be published in the last week of April or first week of May by National testing agency after conclusion of their second set of JEE Mains examination in the month of April. Till then you will have to have patience. However, I would Still recommend you to appear for the second set of examination in the month of April with the aim of improvement in your JEE Mains percentile. Best wishes to you.
