No specialisation can guarantee you placements after completing your degree. It solely depends on your performance and the university in which you are studying. You can say that the scope of aeronautical engineering is good, and if you select a good university than there will be higher chances of getting placed.

Hello Karthik,
No, it is of course not necessary to do M.Tech for getting a job after doing B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering, but the issue is not this. Issue is, in India, at the moment, the jobs in the core sector of Aeronautical Engineering are very hard to come by. ISRO, DRDO, armed forces are some of the recruiters who are requiring specialist from this branch but the Indian industry is still not requiring Aeronautical engineers in the numbers that are passing out. Due to this, many graduates prefer to go for M.Tech either abroad or in India or go for MBA and then get a job based on this new qualifications.
Best wishes to you.

As your percentage is low it is difficult for you to get admission Abroad. You can take up one year pre masters program and the proceed further studies. Even Singapore and UK many colleges offering this.
It is not that high percentage students do well Abroad. In my experience many high percentage students not able to cope up with Abroad studies. This is because Abroad studies are more practical and not mug up and write the exam.
You can do well if you understand and adapt to that system of stydy
