Fashion Designing programme is offered by a lot of colleges. Having said that, choose a decent college that would help you to develop new skills. Based on my own experience I would refer you to consider PCTE Group of Institutes as it provides a lot of practical exposure to its students. I in fact have some friends who have done fashion designing degree from PCTE and the college has indulged us in a variety of activities, games, exercises, workshops like RAWAR, Consumer Hub to name a few. Fashion designing students are even given some practical assignments and the knowledge and practice level that they have is much more than other fashion designing students that I have seen. The three year degree programme gives a lot of exposure, students learned a lot of skills that they can use at their workplace. They got a lot of exposure not only academically but also in enhancing my overall personality along with their personal skills. They have explored people from 42 countries under one roof. Every institute has it's own course specific fee structure. In order to know the exact fee it would be always advisable to browse through the official website of the institute where you wish to apply.
Below is the eligibility criteria for NDA.
For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply.
For admissions, one has to fill the application form. application form along with an Information Brochure containing general instructions for filling up the form, an acknowledgement card and an envelope for sending the application will be obtainable from the designated Head Post Offices/ Post Offices throughout the country on payment of a requisite amount. Blank application forms and other particulars are published by UPSC in leading newspapers and Employment News in the month of March and September.
