Hi Rohit, I have never heard of such thing in VIT. Maybe, it's something new that they have launched. But to be frank VIT B.Tech is far better than M.Tech.
That's the reason why, B.Tech the highest package was 22 LPA while the M.Tech guys were no where close. And when you opt for dual degree course you will be one among the M.Tech guys. The employment opportunities are growing. You can take up jobs in the production industry, tourism, the service industry or healthcare as well. In addition you can work as a nutrition consultant or a research analyst. Most opportunities lie in the non-governmental organizations for graduates. Teaching is another lucrative option available. A degree also opens up vistas for self-employment like starting their own school, interior design and fashion boutiques.

There is no exact cut-off as they want to fool you and want to make you feel inferior they will put you on waiting list they will tell you that the cut-off is going to be high and they say that they want high-quality students but when you take admission in any branch, you will see that there are more average students who were not even eligible for engineering (on intelligence level) in your class.
So, they don't have any cut-off if you got money.
