Dear souvik , If you are interested in engineering , Go for it. Employer is waiting for you , subject to the condition that you study well in your under graduate course. There are plenty of example available that ,despite of poor results at 12th than you succeeded well / get placed in reputed companies.
So choose your course of study first. Then hulf of the job to get an employment is done.
