Another option for you is to apply in some good private university on the basis of your good JEE score as well as your marks in 12th so that you are able to get a branch of your choice.
We have many good private universities around like LPU, Manav rachna, Chitkara etc. All these are reputed universities with highly qualified universities. Some of them also offer scholarships to meritorious students on the basis of their JEE score as well as marks in 12th.

As Neda has mentioned, there are lot of courses you can look at. People in general have a wrong notion, that an MBA will get them their dream job. The scenario is slowly changing. Your first priority should be to list down your strengths or skill sets. Just to cite an example, if I say my strengths are excellent oral communication and listening skill, discipline, ability to handle pressure, good presence of mind, patience and so on, one area where I can look at making my career, is sales. You have to match your skill sets with the function which requires your skill sets. You have to be brutally honest with yourself. Once you identify the function and decide to make your career, your priority should be to gain exposure to all areas which come under the function or profile. Money will automatically follow. Always remember, that a person is paid for his skill and not his qualification

Vikas, there are many creative options like Media and Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking place rapidly. Similarly in Design the cutting edge areas are UID/ UXD, 3D Printing, Immersive Technology, Augmented Reality, 3D Projection etc, besides of course Game Design and Animation. At this stage, you may want to understand the creative world and the careers it offers. There are many careers for the creative/ artistic people. Interiors, textile as well as Web Design rely on the same skills - your layout skills and color sense. Journalism also is at this level and relies on your language skills and knowledge of history and current affairs. A little higher perches Graphic Design, Fashion Design, jewellery design, Acting, and Fine Arts which rely on one of your artistic skills - sketching and imagination. At a similar level perches VFX as well as Motion Graphics which rely on one of your artistic skills - Cinematographic skills and imagination. Then come careers like Animation, Film Making, Game Design which rely on multiple talents like your authority over sketching, acting, direction, voice, sound, writing, storytelling and problem solving skills etc. Any extra skill can be used in this. So it turns out to be one of the most challenging as well as satisfying careers. Sure not recommended for the weak hearted. Do remember that digital design careers (e.g. web design, graphics, UI design, animation, vfx, multimedia) give better profits since they can be delivered anywhere in the world and hence may earn in dollars - resulting in better rewards for designers.
