The best government colleges for architecture are JJ College of Architecture, Chandigarh College of Architecture, School of Planning and Architecture-New Delhi and Department of Architecture and Planning-Roorkee.
All these colleges altogether do not have more than 250 seats within them. So, you are not likely to get into any of them. Though, you can get into other good colleges such as RV College of Engineering or Manipal University or Modi University.

Minimum eligibility is 10+2 with 60% marks in aggregate and 75% marks in English as one of the core/elective subjects.
Selection criteria is written test/ interface meeting or personal interview.
Total number of seats in the college for BA English honors are 50.
So you may try but it seems difficult to crack the exam.
