Having a work experience before doing MBA is not a prerquisite in India
You should be knowing following points which might help you in taking your decision
1) Gaining work experience before pursuing masters equips a candidate with knowledge and experience on one hand but can make the candidate feel handicap on the other hand in terms of time managment and difficulty in getting associated with studies again.
2) students with work ex are better in terms of formal behavior, insights of corporate world but might refrain their learnings in MBA to the field of their work only. for example a person working in sales for a car company might compare everything while studying with his car selling experience only. this will narrow his horizon of embracing knowledge in comparision with other studnets.
3) If you wish to do an MBA from out of India, work ex is indeed must and adds up to your overall profile.
4) if you wish to learn and earn together then doing an exec MBA should best suit you. Try to do an MBA in a field which will add to your current profile rather than just an extension of what you are doign currently.
5) In corporate world, candidates with MBA+ significant work ex is preferred however it also depends on organization to organization. somewhere experience of 3 to 4 years is good along with MBA degree and other might just consider it an OK parameter.

To share a few tips-
*If you are determined for a job in bank, preparations for exams must be started well in advance. Most bank exams have common sections like Aptitude, Logical, so its better you start from them.
*Practice using model or previous question papers; it could help in giving an outline of the exam structure. Try to work out the questions atleast thrice, which will boost your confidence level to answer.
*Having decided to appear for exams of a specific bank, research about the bank, management, core business areas, branches, mission, achievements and recognition is necessary.
*Be attentive about up-to-date happenings by reading newspapers. Stay alert on issues pertaining to banks and its business. Watching business news channels will provide a more inside view on various topics.
