A fresher remains a fresher till he/ she gets to explore a career in the defined stream. As for the scope of Oracle DBA is concerned, it is good and in fact never ending field and will simply grow because of the fact more and more companies require these professionals so to secure the data and manipulate through adding functions to generate desired results.

Hi, Yashwanth, to be honest with 17 backlogs, it will be a bit difficult to get admission in an NZ University and getting an NZ visa; unless there are several other mitigating factors in your application.

Beyond this it will be a faculty decision if there are lots of cherries on your application you could be considered. If not, then am sorry that it will be a extremely difficult task.
